Attend Greenwood Village Day
Village Greens Park plays host to Greenwood Village Day on July 29, from 2:00 to 9:30 p.m. Spend some time in the water paddle boarding or simply splashing around. Enjoy rock climbing, soccer, and dodge ball, or stick to the fair activities like carnival rides and foosball. Your kids will like the hands-on art projects, face-painting, and other school-age fun. Delicious burgers, hot dogs, and grilled cheese will be available for purchase and the snow cones are free!
Greenwood Village Day Jams
When nighttime descends on the festival, music begins! The always entertaining Dotsero Jazz Band will begin at 6:30p.m., followed by the Wash Park Band at 8:15 p.m. A dazzling display of fireworks will cap off the special event created for the residents of Greenwood Village.
Hit the Westlands Park
Westlands Park is a 25.3 acre gem in the middle of Greenwood Village. While it’s been featured in Landscape Architecture Magazine, honored as "Top of the Rocky Top Playground," and featured as the Top Playground destination in the metro area, residents know it as the local place to be in the summer.
The playground caters to toddlers and teens alike with activities such as the climbing structures satisfying both the technical climber as well as the inexperienced child. Plus, there are three multi-use playing fields, an in-line hockey rink, a natural water sculpture, a pond, and a hiking/biking trail. We dare you to try and NOT finding something to do here!
Hop On! Ride a Horse at an Equestrian Park
Equestrian enthusiasts are the backbone of Greenwood Village’s rural lifestyle. With five equestrian parks to choose from, every type of rider is well taken care of. Whether you’re looking to practice in an arena, test your horse’s abilities on a cross country course, or simply stroll on a trail, Greenwood Village has something for you.
