Question 2

What size storage unit do I need at StorQuest in New Haven?

Accepted Answer

The right unit size depends on what you are storing and for how long. StorQuest on Ferry Street offers units ranging from compact 3x6 personal closet spaces all the way up to extra-large 12x20 and 13x19 units, with a wide range of sizes in between. A small unit in the 3x6 to 5x10 range works well for documents, seasonal clothing, dorm overflow, and personal closet items — especially for Yale University students or downtown New Haven residents clearing space in an apartment. A medium unit in the 6x10 to 10x10 range can hold furniture, appliances, and the contents of one or two rooms, making it a common choice for residents moving between neighborhoods in New Haven, East Haven, Hamden, or West Haven. Larger units from 10x12 to 12x20 are a fit for full household contents, business inventory, and equipment storage for businesses operating around the greater New Haven area. The storquest.com size guide can help you narrow down your options before you visit.
