Givetoberfest

Shake the dust off your lederhosen and dirndls and get ready to polka dance to Rick Borger and the Average German Band on September 1st for the 1st annual Givetoberfest. This Oktoberfest themed celebration and charity event was created to help provide resources and opportunities for low-income children and young adults to allow them to think big and reach for the stars. Enjoy locally brewed Oktoberfest beers, authentic German food, a stein hoisting competition, and energized local music. Givetoberfest is the perfect opportunity to give back to the community and make a huge impact. 

Colorado Brewery Running Series

Originating in 2016, the Colorado Brewery Running Series is a 5k-ish, fun-run course that starts and ends at local Colorado Breweries. Combining the great outdoors with craft beer, this event welcomes all runners, walkers, joggers, and spectators. After the race, spend the afternoon hanging with friends and family, sipping some refreshing craft beers, and enjoying live local music. With over $10,457 donated to local nonprofits, 12,967 miles run, and 4,183 beers consumed, the Colorado Brewery Running Series truly embraces the, “be active, have fun, and give back,” culture of Aurora

Food Truck Rodeo

The Aurora Food Truck Rodeo is almost over. Catch it before you miss it! Head over to the Aurora Municipal Center on the Great Lawn the first Friday of every month May 6th - - September 2nd. Put your normal lunch breaks on the back burner and treat your taste buds to some of the most flavorful foods in Aurora. Whether you’re in the mood for some wood-fired pizza from Simply Pizza or feeling something more exotic like West African inspired cuisine from Pikine Grill, the Food Truck Rodeos mouthwatering options are sure to satisfy.

Preserve the Harvest is looking forward to their most exciting year yet. Created to motivate people to eat local, support local food systems, and conserve the season’s harvest for the upcoming winter, Preserve the Harvest offers hands-on classes where you can learn preserving techniques. The fruits class focuses on transforming juicy summer fruits into flavorful jams and jellies.

CherryArts Festival at Stanley

Inspired by urban marketplaces across the United States, CherryArts is hosting the 2018 Stanley Arts Festival September 7th - 9th. This celebration of national art and local flavor will feature 100 artist exhibitors whose mission is to ignite your creative brain by providing fun art experiences and supporting art education in Colorado. Watch the talented musicians, celebrate your imagination at the Creation Station, and join in on the fun at the delicious Sunday Art Brunch at the CherryArts Festival at Stanley.
