Truck and Driver Program*
The Truck and Driver Program* is a discounted service offered at select locations at the time of move-in for all new customers who live within a 5 mile radius of the store. To take advantage of this easy and convenient service, call your local StorQuest facility to schedule an appointment to have a truck and driver dispatched to your location. Upon arrival, load all of your packed belongings into the truck, follow our driver to the facility, complete the necessary paperwork and unload your belongings into your new storage unit.
How much does the service cost?
The Truck and Driver Program* is only $49/hr ($150 value), starting when the driver arrives at the tenant’s place of pickup! We supply the truck, driver and gas (Now that’s a great deal!). We are not a moving company. You are only responsible for providing the labor to load and unload your belongings.
Who is eligible to use this program?
StorQuest Self Storage offers all new customers this convenient service at the time of move-in for participating locations. This offer can not be used in conjunction with any other move-in specials. Contact your local StorQuest facility to see if this program is available near you.
What do I have to do to get started?
First, contact your local store to speak directly with a StorQuest Customer Service Representative. They will assist you in determining the correct size storage unit for your belongings. Once you have selected a size, we recommend that you reserve the unit and schedule a convenient time to visit the store for a tour of the property. While you are at the store, you can also fill out all of the necessary paperwork, make your payment and schedule the truck and driver to meet you at your home or business.
What if I don’t have time to visit the facility before I need to move-in?
Not a problem. Contact your local store to speak directly with a StorQuest Customer Service Representative. They will assist you in determining the correct size storage unit for your belongings. Once you have decided on a size, inform the representative that you will not be able to make it to the facility prior to the truck pick-up. The representative will fax and/or email you a New Customer Information Form to fill out and fax back. After faxing back the form, contact the representative to provide your credit card information for payment and schedule a time for the truck and driver to visit your home. When the date of your scheduled pick-up arrives, the driver will bring you a lease to review, fill in any additional required information, sign and date. Once you arrive at the store, you will need to visit the office prior to unloading your belongings to finalize the move-in process, receive a Move-In Packet and Gate Access Code.
Do I have a time limit on using the truck and driver?
Due to the popularity of this program and in order to accommodate all new customers, there may be limits in accordance with the availability at the facility.
What if I’m not finished packing when the truck and driver arrive?
It is your responsibility to make sure that you are ready to load your belongings by the date and time you scheduled for the truck and driver. If you have not finished packing your belongings, then you can load the belongings you have ready. You will be responsible for transporting the remaining unpacked belongings to the storage unit at a later date.
